Jalpaiguri, Mar 23 (Siliguri Journal) – Students of Jalpaiguri Prasannadev Women’s College and Anandachandra College celebrated the early spring festival with a colorful program. The spring festival is celebrated with dance, music and colorful festivities. Along with the cultural program with the students, there was a lively music program by the band ‘Abhishapta’. All in all the students enjoyed it.
A colorful procession is taken out from Anandachandra College premises on the occasion of Agam Basant Utsav. Hundreds of students participated in the procession. Various cultural programs including music and dance were organized in the college premises with the students of different years of the college. They welcome the spring festival by covering each other. After that, a cultural program was organized in front of the spring festival in the auditorium hall of the college. Similarly, the students of Jalpaiguri Prasannadev Women’s College participated in the pre-spring festival. They organized a rich cultural program including dance and song.
