Birpara, Nov 24 (Siliguri Journal) – A big leopard got caught in a cage set up by the forest folks in Gopalpur Tea Estate near Birpara police station.
On Friday morning, the people around noticed the leopard stuck in the cage at the tea garden. The Jaldapara Forest Department team quickly arrived and safely rescued the leopard.
Two days earlier, the Forest Department’s Madarihat Range got a tip about the leopard being around. They acted fast, setting up a cage to safely catch the leopard.
