Siliguri, August 09 (Siliguri Journal) – The Subrata Sangha Club in Siliguri has kicked off preparations for its 67th Durga Puja celebration with the traditional Khutti Puja ceremony. This year’s festivities will center around a unique theme called ‘Drishtikon’ (Perspective).
Club members shared that this year’s theme, ‘Drishtikon,’ is inspired by the idea of viewing life from different perspectives. This concept will be brought to life in the design of the Puja Mandap, which will be crafted by artists from Medinipur using socially responsible and eco-friendly materials.
Bhaskar Biswas, Club Secretary and President of the Puja Committee, along with Puja Committee Secretary Rabia Nath, expressed confidence that this year’s theme will resonate with the public. They expect large crowds to visit the Puja Mandap, attracted by the innovative theme and design.
To enhance security, the entire Puja Mandap area will be monitored by CCTV cameras to ensure the safety of visitors.
