Cooch Behar, Dec 08 (Siliguri Journal) – Alarm Spread as Three Jewelry Stores Simultaneously Robbed in Baburhat Bazaar, Cooch Behar. Thefts Reported to Kotwali Police Station. According to local and police sources, unidentified individuals simultaneously broke into three gold jewelry stores, stealing both gold jewelry and cash after forcibly opening the locks. Notably, the entire incident was captured on CCTV installed in one of the stores.
The culprits, masked and unidentified, remained elusive. Upon receiving the report, Kotwali police station officers promptly arrived at the scene and launched an investigation. Interestingly, earlier on Wednesday night, two gold jewelry stores in Pundibari market, Cooch Behar, experienced similar incidents. Currently, the police are diligently investigating to uncover any potential connections between the two sets of incidents.
