Bagdogra Authorities Arrested Two Men with Large Cache of Imported Alcohol

Bagdogra, May 01 (Siliguri Journal) – Police found a lot of foreign liquor hidden in a secret compartment inside a truck. This discovery resulted in the arrest of two individuals: Ajay Kumar from Bihar and Zakirul Islam from Assam.

According to police sources, the smuggled foreign liquor was being transported from Assam to Bihar in a truck. The incident occurred at Panighata junction in Bagdogra, where officials intercepted the truck believed to be carrying the illegal goods.

In the search operation, authorities found a significant amount of foreign liquor cleverly hidden in a secret compartment inside the vehicle. Following this discovery, the two suspects were apprehended and brought before the Siliguri Court on Wednesday.
