Two occupants killed as Vehicle Submerges in Teesta River on NH10

Siliguri, Nov 27 (Siliguri Journal) – In a sad event, a car lost control and went into Teesta River near Likhabir on National Highway No. 10. Two lives, Vishal Chhetri and Thupden Bhutia, were lost in this unfortunate incident.

On Monday morning, a car traveling from Siliguri to Sikkim lost control and ended up in the Teesta River, as per reports. Authorities, including the police and Teesta Range personnel, promptly responded, recovering the bodies of the deceased—transporting them for a post-mortem examination. The police are currently investigating the incident further.
