Bidhan Market Business Association in Siliguri initiates a campaign against encroachment

Siliguri, Jan 04 (Siliguri Journal) – Bidhan Market Business Association has kicked off a campaign to tackle road congestion caused by encroachments in the market area.

Reports indicate that numerous businesses have extended their presence onto a significant portion of the roadside, displaying store items for extended periods. This has resulted in challenges for consumers and buyers navigating the area, exacerbating the problem of traffic congestion in the vicinity.

To alleviate the challenges, the Byabasayee Samiti initiated the campaign, successfully clearing the roads of the store items. Committee members are optimistic about sustaining the effort and have issued a stern warning against further encroachment on the roads.
