Naxalbari, Feb 06 (Siliguri Journal) – On Tuesday, Goutam Ghosh, the head of Maniram Gram Panchayat (GP), officially started a new solar-powered drinking water project in Nehal-Dayaram and Jhapu Jote of Naxalbari. This project aims to solve the drinking water problems faced by the locals.
The project, completed over two years with an estimated budget of Rs 11 lakh, is now ready. This recent development guarantees access to clean drinking water for everyone in the area.

Before this, ten solar energy-powered drinking water projects were launched in Maniram Gram Panchayat, and six more are currently underway. The residents are overjoyed to finally have access to clean drinking water after the recent inauguration.
