TMC Candidate Gopal Lama Casts Vote in Siliguri during Second Phase of LS Polls

Siliguri, Apr 26 (Siliguri Journal) – Earlier today, Gopal Lama, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) candidate running for the Darjeeling Lok Sabha constituency, went to Margaret School in Pradhan Nagar to cast his vote.

Reports indicate that before heading to the polling station, the TMC candidate started his day with prayers. Following this, he made his way to the polling station. Notably, he plans to visit multiple booths in Siliguri throughout the day. However, he won’t be making a trip to the hills today.

Lama remains optimistic about the peaceful conduct of the voting process and is confident about his chances of winning the elections. As a newcomer to politics and contesting in the Lok Sabha polls for the first time, he is hopeful of securing a significant victory margin.
