Siliguri, Apr 20 (Siliguri Journal) – Trinamool Congress (TMC) candidate Gopal Lama, running for the Darjeeling Lok Sabha seat, came to Siliguri Court to campaign for the upcoming elections.
As the second phase of Lok Sabha polls approaches, voting in the Darjeeling Lok Sabha constituency is scheduled for April 26. With just a few days remaining until the election, Gopal Lama has ramped up his campaign efforts, reaching out to voters across various locations within the constituency.
According to reports, on Saturday, Gopal Lama, along with Siliguri Mayor Gautam Deb, Deputy Mayor Ranjan Sarkar, and Darjeeling District Trinamool Mahila Congress President Sushmita Bose Mitra, made an appeal to the lawyers of the Siliguri Bar Association for their votes and support. Furthermore, Gopal Lama urged other prominent lawyers, the general public, and city clerks to participate in the upcoming election by casting their votes.
