Siliguri, April 28 (Siliguri Journal) – Big lead in the case of Rahul Das, the 17-year-old who was murdered. The police have arrested his friend in connection with the crime. It’s said that Rahul was killed by his friend during a fight about mobile games.
On Sunday, Rahul Das, who lived in Hatiadanga near Siliguri, went out with his friends despite his mother’s concerns. When Rahul’s mother came back from work, she realized he was gone. Sadly, later, Rahul’s body was found behind a nearby temple, covered in blood.
When the news reached them, police from the Ashighar and Ambari Outposts rushed to the scene and found Rahul’s body. His mother filed a murder complaint, which led to an investigation by the Ambari outpost police. The investigation revealed that Rahul and his friend had a heated argument over mobile games, which tragically led to his death.
After further investigation, the friend accused of the crime was arrested on Sunday night. The minor will appear in juvenile court on Monday for legal proceedings.
