Fulbari, Nov 26 (Siliguri Journal) – In Fulbari, where people are upset about stray dogs being poisoned in Siliguri, there’s a heartwarming story. Sunil Kapri, a truck driver from Gujarat, is taking care of nine stray puppies. Their mom passed away in a road accident near the Fulbari bypass truck terminal.
Reports indicate that the stray puppies were born in the area about a month ago. Sadly, their mother was involved in a road accident shortly after giving birth. Sunil Kapri stepped in to care for the abandoned puppies, diligently providing them with milk and biscuits every day for a month. Despite being a vegetarian, Sunil went the extra mile, buying meat for the puppies and arranging for a local tea store owner to prepare it for their meals.
In addition, Sunil Kapri went above and beyond by building a makeshift shelter for the puppies using hay, clothing, and boxes to keep them warm during the chilly nights. His remarkable efforts were widely recognized and appreciated by everyone in the community.
