One Arrested in Siliguri Ahead of Second Phase of LS Polls After Firearm Recovery

Siliguri, Apr 22 (Siliguri Journal) – Just before the second phase of the Lok Sabha elections, the Pradhan Nagar police in Siliguri made an important discovery. They caught someone named Arjun Prasad with a firearm.

Acting on a tip-off on Sunday night, the Pradhan Nagar police in Siliguri nabbed Arjun from the Rajendra Nagar area of Ward No. 01. During their search, they found a firearm and three live ammunition in his possession.

Police sources reveal that the arrested individual, Arjun Prasad, is a well-known criminal with multiple charges against him. He was seen wandering in the area with suspicious intentions, leading to his arrest last night. Currently, the police are conducting further investigations into the matter.
