Phansidewa, Nov 23 (Siliguri Journal) – A crash happened in Dangapara, Bidhannagar, on National Highway 31 in Phansidewa. A passenger bus hit a truck, causing injuries to several people, including the bus driver.
Reports indicate that on Thursday, a truck carrying goods was parked on the side of NH due to a mechanical issue. A passenger bus traveling from Bihar to Siliguri lost control and collided with the back of the truck in the Dangapara area. As a result, several passengers, including the bus driver, sustained injuries.
The injured individuals were promptly rescued and taken to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) for medical treatment. At present, the police are actively conducting a thorough investigation into the entire incident.
