SMC’s Ward No. 17 kicks off ‘Unmesh’ Ward Utsav

Siliguri, Jan 05 (Siliguri Journal) – The fun-filled ‘Unmesh’ Ward Utsav in Ward No. 17, organized by the Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC), has started off with a big parade. Excitingly, this celebration is planned to go on until January 21st.

As per reports, the procession began at Siliguri College, featuring flag hoisting and the release of balloons and pigeons. Notably, the traditional hand-drawn rickshaws from Kolkata added a charming touch to the parade.

Mayor Goutam Deb, along with SMC Chairman Pratul Chakraborty, Deputy Mayor Ranjan Sarkar, Members of Mayor-in-Council (MMIC), Borough Chairman, and councillors from different wards, were part of this festive gathering.
