TMC Stages Protest Outside Dinhata Police Station, Calls for the Arrest of Union MoS Nisith Pramanik

Cooch Behar, Jan 05 (Siliguri Journal) – Cooch Behar Faces Tension: Trinamool Congress Members Surround Dinhata Police Station, Urging Arrest of Union MoS for Home Affairs and BJP MP Nisith Pramanik.

On Friday, TMC activists and supporters marched from Dinhata Sanghati Maidan to the local police station, staging a ‘gherao.’ Notable figures present during the unrest included Minister of North Bengal Development Udayan Guha, District Trinamool President Avijit Dey Bhowmik, Rabindranath Ghosh, Paresh Adhikari, Hiten Barman, and TMC workers and supporters from different areas of Dinhata Assembly.
