Rajganj, Dec 24 (Siliguri Journal) – A special journey called the “Kalash Yatra” took place in Ambari before the grand inauguration of the Ram Mandir. This unique event included the procession of a sacred Kalash, which held ‘Akshat rice’ from Ayodhya.
On Sunday, the Sanatan Sanskriti Abhiyan Samiti of Binnaguri Mandal organized the Akshat Kalash Yatra in Ambari, Rajganj block. The Yatra started at Ambari Targhera ground, covering a distance of approximately 5 km before concluding at Sahudangi.
The inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is set for January 22. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is extending invitations by sending yellow rice, known as ‘Akshat,’ throughout the country. Numerous individuals joined the yatra in celebration of this significant event.
