Fatal Road Accident on NH 31 in Alipurduar Claims One Life, Injures Another

Alipurduar, Dec 24 (Siliguri Journal) – A sad event occurred as a man named Arpan Toppo lost his life in a car crash, and another person got seriously hurt. This happened on Saturday night on National Highway 31 (NH 31) in Bamunpara, Alipurduar district.

Reportedly, two residents of Kodal Basti were heading home from Alipurduar on a motorcycle when a bigger vehicle collided with them. Nearby people quickly came to help, taking them to Latabari Hospital. Unfortunately, the medical team at the hospital declared one person dead as soon as they arrived.

The other seriously injured person was urgently transferred to Alipurduar District Hospital given their critical condition. Authorities are currently investigating the entire incident.
