Forest officials respond swiftly to tragic incident, sending leopard's body for post-mortem examination to determine cause of death.
Alipurduar, May 09 (Siliguri Journal) – A sad event happened when a leopard was hit by a fast-moving vehicle and died late Wednesday night. This happened as the leopard was trying to cross the main road in the Madarihat area.
Following the incident, forest officials from the Jaldapara Wildlife Division quickly arrived at the scene. They then transported the leopard’s body to Jaldapara for a post-mortem examination.
