Rajganj, Dec 23 (Siliguri Journal) – A surprising discovery unfolded when someone’s body was found hanging from a rope on a tree by the Karatoya River near Ambari in Rajganj block.
The person who passed away has been recognized as Subhash Sarkar, living in Kamarvita, Ambari. Subhash worked as both an e-rickshaw (toto) driver and a tea seller.
According to gathered information, on Saturday morning, local residents discovered the lifeless body hanging from a tree. They promptly reported the incident to the Ambari Outpost police.
Upon receiving the report, the police quickly reached the scene, retrieved the deceased body, and transported it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) for a post-mortem examination. The police are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the entire incident.
