Siliguri, May 03 (Siliguri Journal) – In Siliguri’s Shaktigarh area a person’s body was found hanging from a rope at a house. The person, identified as Mithun Roy from Haldibari, was sadly the victim.
According to reports, Mithun Roy had been working at a bar in Siliguri’s Jalpai More area for a few months. He shared accommodation with his colleagues at a residence in Shaktigarh. Tragically, his lifeless body was discovered hanging from a noose on the terrace of the residence on Friday morning.
Upon receiving the news, officers from the NJP police station quickly arrived at the scene and recovered Mithun’s body. Sources disclosed that on Thursday, Mithun seemed less interactive at work. Moreover, he had a conversation with a particular individual over the phone and left work earlier than usual that night.
Meanwhile, the police have recovered the body of the deceased and have sent it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) for a post-mortem examination.
