Naxalbari, Mar 27 (Siliguri Journal) – Siliguri Mayor Goutam Deb is now busy campaigning in Naxalbari to support TMC candidate Gopal Lama for the Darjeeling Lok Sabha constituency.
Reports say that on Wednesday, Mayor Gautam Deb, along with Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad Sabhadhipati Arun Ghosh, toured various places in Naxalbari such as Dakshin Kotia Jote, Uttar Kotia, and Deshbandhu Para to rally support for Gopal Lama.
Throughout the campaign, the mayor engaged with local residents, encouraging them to vote for Gopal Lama. He expressed confidence in the support and trust of the people of Naxalbari, highlighting the positive response received during the campaign.
The Mayor also took a dig at BJP candidate Raju Bista for the Darjeeling Lok Sabha constituency, while acknowledging the assertion of MLA Bishnu Prasad Sharma.
