Cooch Behar, Mar 31 (Siliguri Journal) – Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Cooch Behar on April 4 to lead a powerful election campaign for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Nisith Pramanik. The District BJP is working hard to ensure everything is ready for the big day.
It’s worth mentioning that the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections 2024 will take place in Cooch Behar on April 19. Notably, senior leaders and ministers are scheduled to visit Cooch Behar for campaigning in the first week of April.
According to reports, the Prime Minister will deliver a speech at an election rally held at Raas Mela ground in Cooch Behar. On Sunday, key BJP figures including State-in-Charge Mangal Pandey, District BJP President and MLA Sukumar Roy, MLA Nikhil Ranjan Dey, and other party leaders assessed the campaign site.
