Rajganj, Dec 25 (Siliguri Journal) – In Mahamaya Colony, Ambari, a concerning situation unfolded. Women, in a bid to draw attention to the lack of drinking water, protested with buckets. The village is facing challenges with water access, and the community is making their voices heard.

Residents state that approximately two years ago, taps were installed with the promise of providing drinking water to every household. Initially, water from the Sudamgachh Water Project was supplied, but this reportedly ceased after just two months. Despite informing the Local Panchayat, the issue remained unresolved.
