Matigara, Jan 06 (Siliguri Journal) – Matigara police have arrested three people in two separate theft incidents in Silgadhi. Theft was held at the house of a man named Shatrughan Singh in Vastuvihar area on 30th of last month.
Several items including water pump, bronze utensils, gas cylinder were stolen. Immediately after the incident, the house owner had filed a written complaint at Matigara Police Station.
Police have arrested two people from Matigara area yesterday after investigation into the incident. The names of two arrested are Manav Burman and Biplav Roy. Both are residents of Stoneghata area. Everything stolen from his house has been recovered.
Theft was also taken place at Pallavi Lama’s house in Jhou Giri area on 22nd of last month. Goods including computer, gas cylinder, water pump were stolen. Yesterday again police have arrested a thief from Matigara area.
