Rajganj, Jan 06 (Siliguri Journal) – A heartbreaking incident happened when a young person, Rajiv Sharma (23), lost his life in a bike accident on his way back home from work. The tragic event unfolded in the Talma Goyalpara area of Belakoba Gram Panchayat, under Jalpaiguri district sadar block. Rajiv, who lived in the Chhatkamat Para area under Kukurjan Gram Panchayat in Rajganj, has sadly passed away.
Reports indicate that Rajiv, who owns a motorbike garage in Fakirdhip, Belakoba, was involved in a tragic accident on his way home on Friday night while riding his two-wheeler.
His family rushed to the scene and quickly brought him to Belakoba Rural Hospital, where medical professionals sadly confirmed his passing.
Upon learning of the incident, officers from Jalpaiguri Kotwali police station promptly arrived, transporting the deceased’s body for a post-mortem examination. The police are currently actively involved in conducting a thorough investigation.
