Rajganj, Dec 27 (Siliguri Journal) – Concerns arose at the Anganwadi near Dharagachh-II Primary School in Majhiyali Gram Panchayat, Rajganj block. Accusations suggest that the workers aren’t visiting regularly.

Reports indicate that on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m., the Anganwadi center was reportedly locked. This has resulted in children missing out on both education and the mid-day meal. The villagers are upset about this incident.

According to locals, a teacher and assistant are in charge of the Anganwadi center. Sadly, the teacher hasn’t been there for months, and the assistant’s attendance is irregular. Additionally, the center stays closed every Saturday.

On Wednesday, neither worker showed up at the center, raising concerns among locals. They are worried about potential accidents as the Anganwadi center is next to a state highway. To address this, they have reported the issue to higher authorities.
