Naxalbari, Jan 02 (Siliguri Journal) – On New Year’s night, a sad event occurred as a young person, J Prasad Roy from Hatighisa, lost their life in a car crash. Three others – Sayan Barai, Sanjay Singh, and Pabitra Singh – were seriously injured.
On Monday night, two motorcycles collided head-on in the Satbhaiya flyover area of Naxalbari. J Prasad Roy lost his life instantly, and the three others were critically injured. Local residents promptly rescued the injured and rushed them to Naxalbari Rural Hospital, where they were later referred to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH).
Upon receiving information about the incident, Naxalbari police arrived at the scene, took custody of the motorcycles, and have initiated a thorough investigation into the entire incident.
