Alipurduar, Jan 08 (Siliguri Journal) – A wild elephant attacked a family in Bangkandi village, Jateswar I Gram Panchayat, Alipurduar district. According to reports, on Monday, the elephant attacked a home in that area, causing damage to the wall, a bike, and a scooter parked inside. Moreover, the wild elephant also ruined the stored paddy in the house.

Local sources disclosed that the elephant went on a rampage for approximately an hour, creating a sense of panic in the area.
