Siliguri Marks Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose

Siliguri, Jan 23 (Siliguri Journal) – Siliguri and the whole country honored Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his 128th birthday with great respect and celebrations. On Tuesday morning, reports indicate that Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s birth anniversary was observed at different spots in Siliguri. The Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC) participated in the day’s celebrations. The event began with the raising of the national flag in front of the Netaji Statue at Netaji More in Subhash Pally. Following this, Siliguri Mayor Goutam Deb, Deputy Mayor Ranjan Sarkar, and other officials paid their respects to Netaji by placing garlands at his statue.
