Siliguri Pride Walk Advocates for Various Needs of the LGBTQ+ Community

Siliguri, Dec 29 (Siliguri Journal) – Last Friday, the Siliguri Pride Walk took place, highlighting important requests from the LGBTQ+ community. Reports indicate that the march started at Mahatma Gandhi More (Airview More) in Siliguri, followed the Hill Cart Road, and concluded at Baghajatin Park. Participants advocated for various rights, such as the ability to adopt children and legal recognition of same-sex marriages. The event saw enthusiastic participation from both Siliguri and Kolkata community members.

Bodhisattva, representing the organization, shed light on the rights denied to the community. In response, community members held a united procession, emphasizing the importance of securing their rights.
