Fatal Drowning Incident at Sagardighi in Cooch Behar

Sagardighi, Dec 28 (Siliguri Journal) – A sad event unfolded as a man drowned while bathing at Sagardighi in Cooch Behar. We are still working to identify the person who lost their life in this incident.

On Thursday afternoon, the Civil Defense team recovered the body from Sagardighi ghat. According to locals, the individual arrived on a bicycle, headed to the ghat for a bath, but didn’t return. Concerned locals then reported the situation to the Civil Defense.

Upon learning of the incident, Civil Defense personnel promptly arrived at the scene and successfully recovered the deceased person’s body.
