Siliguri, Dec 01 (Siliguri Journal) – In a recent update, the Special Operations Group (SOG) and officials from the Karibari Panitanki Outpost teamed up for an operation. They successfully caught a person named Biswa Barman, also known as Bahadur (31), from the Quarter More area near Panitanki in Kharibari. He was found with brown sugar. Biswa Barman resides in Prasadu Jote.
According to reports, last Thursday, the officials conducted a raid in the mentioned area following a tip-off. They apprehended an individual with a two-wheeler on suspicion. A search revealed 101 grams of brown sugar, leading to the suspect’s arrest.
Police sources reveal that the individual had been arrested in a similar incident before. On Friday, the accused was presented before the Siliguri Sub-Divisional Court. Currently, the entire incident is under police investigation.
